Salman bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari serves as the Consul General of Afghanistan in Doha, Qatar, representing the interests of the Afghan government and providing consular support to Afghan nationals residing in the Qatar. His leadership reflects a commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Qatar and ensuring effective services for the Afghan community within the consular jurisdiction.
Career
The Consulate General in Doha serves Afghan nationals living across the western regions of Qatar. Under Mr. Tariq’s leadership, the mission works to protect the rights of Afghan citizens, support their needs, and contribute to productive diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
Present Role
In his capacity as Consul General, Mr. Tariq oversees the consulate’s operations, including:
Providing consular services and assistance to Afghan citizens in need
Facilitating documentation services such as passports, visas, and civil affairs
Promoting cultural, social, and economic ties between Afghanistan and the Qatar
Engaging with local authorities and community leaders to support Afghan nationals abroad
His role is central to fostering mutual understanding and cooperation, and to ensuring that the needs of Afghan expatriates are served with professionalism and integrity.
